ARPA is the NRA recognized state affiliate for Arkansas.
And while there are 32,000 NRA members in Arkansas, we must survive
and thrive on our own. That means we carry our own weight! Our
dues paying memberships are currently hovering around 1,000, we have 15
dues paying clubs and organizations, and about 200 activists around the state
get our free e-mail alerts. We can live with out your money, but can't
make it without your efforts!! Get involved now!
The citizens of this State shall have the right to keep and bear arms
for their common defense. (Arkansas State Constitution - 1874)
"We reject the collective rights and sophisticated collective rights
models for interpreting the Second Amendment. We hold, consistent with
Miller, that it protects the right of individuals, including those not then
actually a member of any militia or engaged in active military service or
training, to privately possess and bear their own firearms, such as the
pistol involved here, that are suitable as personal, individual weapons
and are not of the general kind or type excluded by Miller." - Fifth
Circuit (Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi).
If you support gun rights in Arkansas, then join us! We need you.
ARPA is also a DCM/OPM club.
We can help you qualify for your CMP M1 Garrand! OR AT LEAST WE COULD, IF WE WERE TAKING CHECKS, WHICH WE'RE NOT!
SPECIAL NOTICE / NEWS
NO MORE CHECKS. THEY AREN'T BEING CASHED UNTIL THERE IS NEW LEADERSHIP.
